outlining your rights and obligations when using the Weldy application ("Weldy" or the "App"). Prior to accessing or using the App, it is important to familiarise yourself with these Terms, as your usage implies legal acceptance of these terms. By creating a Weldy account, you consent to be governed by our Terms and Conditions of Use, our Privacy Policy and Weldy Corporate Policy. We may choose to modify this Agreement every now and then to reflect revisions in our requirements of the Law, new features and conducts relating to our business. If such revisions include substantial changes to your rights or obligations, we will notify you reasonably in advance.
Weldy Rules
To be eligible to create a Weldy account, you must be:
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. Legally permitted to use the App by the laws of the country you use the app in.
3. Have no prior convictions of a felony, or indictable offense or severe crime, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence, and that you are not required to register as a sex offender with any local or international registry.
Remember that you are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur when you sign-up for Weldy. If you are suspicious that someone may have gained access to your account, contact us rapidly. If you choose to no longer use Weldy, you may delete your account through the “Settings” page on the app. Your account will be deleted immediately, but some of your information may be stored in our database for safety and legal reasons. If you delete your account and attempt to create a new account within this specified time period using the same credentials, we will reactivate your account for you.
Weldy employs automated systems and a team of moderators to oversee and assess accounts and messages, identifying content that suggests violations of our Terms and Conditions. We have no obligation to pre-screen content, as we aim to minimize interference. Consequently, we do not assume any responsibility to proactively assess content created by you or the other users of the App. Nevertheless, there might be instances where intervention becomes necessary. Hence, we retain the right to examine, pre-screen, reject, and/or delete any content, including content exchanged through direct messages between users.
We retain the exclusive right, at our discretion, to terminate or suspend any account, limit access to the App, or utilise any operational, technological, legal, or other available means to enforce our Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, blocking specific IP addresses. Such actions may be taken at any time without incurring liability, and without the necessity of providing you with prior notice.
Accessing, tampering with, or utilising non-public areas of the Weldy App or our systems is prohibited. Certain sections of the App may be inaccessible if you have not registered for an account.
When using the Weldy App, you hereby agree that you will not, under any circumstance:
· Use the App for illegal, harmful or nefarious purposes
· Use the App in order to damage Weldy
· Use the App to produce or share content which are of sexually explicit, violent or threatening nature
· Use the App to produce or share content that encourages or promotes racism, hatred or physical harm against an individual or group
· Spam, defraud or solicit money from any other user
· Impersonate any person or post images of a person without their consent
· Bully, stalk, intimidate, assault, harass or mistreat any person
· Post content that violates any rights including but not limited to privacy, intellectual property, trademark rights
· Maintain more than one account
· Attempt to solicit passwords or any other personally identifiable information for unlawful purposes
We maintain a strict stance against misconduct within the Weldy App, and users are urged to report any abuse or content concerns by reaching out to us. You can also directly report a user through their profile or chat by utilizing the 'Block & Report' link. We retain the right to investigate potential violations of the Terms, the rights of Weldy users, or third-party rights. At our discretion, we may promptly terminate a user's App usage rights without prior notice. It's crucial to understand that we lack control over user actions or statements, placing the responsibility for interactions with other App users solely on the individual.
Please note that Meteto LLC currently does not conduct criminal background checks on its users and does not verify their backgrounds or statements. We provide no representations or warranties concerning user conduct or compatibility. We reserve the right to perform criminal background checks or other screenings, such as sex offender registration searches, at any time and to utilise available public records for any purpose. Furthermore, when the App facilitates arrangements for a restaurant date, Weldy bears no liability for issues or incidents during the date. Users partaking in such activities acknowledge that Weldy is not accountable for the actions, behaviour, or outcomes resulting from the arranged meeting. Any limitations of liability outlined in the Terms and Conditions apply in these situations, and users are advised to refer to the relevant sections detailing the extent of Weldy's responsibility and limitations.
Weldy retains the right to examine and/or discontinue your account, with no reimbursement for any acquisitions, should you breach this Agreement. Should you transgress these regulations or our general terms, your entitlement to utilise the Service will be automatically withdrawn.
Restaurant Dates
A clause regarding restaurant dates is included to clarify that such arrangements are optional and not mandatory. The App serves as a facilitator, providing users the choice to engage in restaurant dates at their discretion. Users have the flexibility to cancel a restaurant date in advance, recognizing that these meet-ups are ultimately a matter of personal choice.
Weldy is an intermediary application that encourages parties to book restaurant appointments. Weldy does not accept any responsibility in case of a dispute regarding the processes related to the restaurant, especially the services you will receive from the restaurant.
It's emphasized for safety reasons that the timing of the date cannot be changed once confirmed. This policy aims to enhance user safety during these interactions, ensuring a set timing for a more secure and predictable experience. Users are encouraged to review and adhere to these terms when participating in restaurant dates facilitated by the App.
Since our users’ safety is our ultimate priority, if you go on a date and would like to report an incident regarding your date or the restaurant, please immediately reach out to us through the app. After the reporting of a date and explaining the issue, we will conduct an investigation which may ban the reported user from the app indefinitely.
It is essential to highlight that when users agree on a restaurant date, the chosen place and timing cannot be altered due to safety reasons. This policy is a crucial and novel function of the App designed to enhance user safety and well-being during arranged meetings.
Your Personal Data
Compared to other matchmaking applications, Weldy learns about your preferences not while you first create your account, but when you first start swiping. While certain information is important to answer (such as your gender preference) for our matchmaking algortihm to function, you have the option to skip non-essential preference questions. App Rewards
Weldy may provide users with other app-based entertainment services such as the “Leaderboard”, where most engaging user profiles may be showcased and rewarded with exclusive opportunities to partner with Weldy. Such services are only provided when users give their explicit consent.
Location-Based Services
We may send you messages, including emails, texts, push notifications, and alerts related to the Weldy App, such as updates, offers, products, events, and promotions. Upon downloading the App, you'll be prompted to accept or decline push notifications. Opting out means you won't receive any, while accepting triggers automatic receipt. To stop receiving push notifications/alerts, adjust your notification settings on your mobile device.
For other communications like emails and texts, you can unsubscribe by following provided instructions or emailing your request to [email protected].
The App may provide location-based content and opportunities based on your location, determined through GPS, and/or mobile device software. If your device disables these features or denies location access, you won't access location-specific content, products, services, and materials. Refer to our Weldy Privacy Policy for details on how the App uses and retains your information.
Dispute Resolution
In the event that any kind of dispute occurs between Weldy and you; including but not limited to our current and/or prior version of our Terms, your use of our App, or any other legal conflict or claims, the disputes will be resolved by the national Central Courts of the end user. You agree that you will not file or participate in a class action against us.
Third-Party Services
Weldy App may feature advertisements and promotions provided by third parties, along with links to other websites or resources. Weldy holds no responsibility for the availability or unavailability of such external websites or resources. If you opt to engage with the third parties accessible through our App, your relationship with them will be governed by their respective terms, and Weldy will not be accountable for the terms or actions of these third parties.
Weldy may provide certain services in the form of automatically renewing subscriptions, referred to as Premium and Premium Plus Subscriptions ("Premium Services"). Should you opt for an automatically renewing subscription, it will continue for successive periods unless you decide to cancel, and you will be billed at Weldy's prevailing rates for such subscriptions.
To avoid incurring charges for a new subscription period, it is necessary to cancel before the conclusion of the existing subscription period, as outlined below. Deleting your account or uninstalling the application from your device does not constitute cancellation of your subscription. Notice of changes in pricing for the subscribed Premium Services will be communicated, and you will have the opportunity to cancel. Failure to cancel your subscription after Weldy alters the prices implies your agreement to be billed at the updated rates.
If your subscription was obtained directly from Weldy, you have the option to cancel or modify your Payment Method through the payment settings in your profile. Alternatively, if the subscription was procured via a Third-Party Store, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must access your account with the respective Third-Party Store and adhere to their instructions to alter or terminate your subscription.
